Transformational Retreats: Creating a New Way of Living and Being

A new age is emerging. People all over the planet are understanding that the current state of our world, is a pure reflection of us. War, poverty, crime, global recession; it is all a reflection of mankind’s fragmented way of being. You experience it in our consciousness, connection, or lack of it, to each other, and where we direct our thoughts and energy. Perhaps there is a natural evolution that mother earth must take, but I would suggest that much of what she is responding to, is a reflection of our fragmentations. We have been consistently operating from a place that is not truly in alignment with authentic power and heart. As a result we have given birth to the world we see today. There are many beautiful, stupendous things about this world yes, but I am speaking in this moment to the energy that has people stop, more often that not, these days to say; ‘Wait a minute, the way I have been doing this, just doesn’t work anymore. I want to find a new way…’ Our instinctive nature is calling us, collectively, to generate a new way of being so we connect and create harmony. Just like natural kingdom has been showing us since the beginning of time.
I have found through my work as a facilitator of transformational work, that as people unplug from what doesn’t work anymore and look for a new way to plug into, they suddenly find themselves instinctively wanting to be in nature. I have found it too. The need to leave the city, to get away from traffic, noise, pollution, media, cell phones, electromagnetic airwaves, the intensity of image driven marketing and more. To simply physically unplug, get off the grid and find an environment that allows us to be quiet. As we unplug from an old way of being and begin to search for flow, our natural essence calls to nature and instinctively takes us there because the natural environment knows how to speak to us, reminding us that we are connected to the earth. Its there that we begin to reconnect to who we truly are and discover a new way. It doesn’t mean you have to become a greenie and live in a tree, its simply means that by allowing your natural environment to speak to you, allowing your spirit to feel it, you reconnect to the energy that allows your mind, heart and body to feel about a new way, rather than think about it. The energy of figuring it out in your head keeps you there.
I am so excited about an adventure I am about to embark on. On June 20, 2011 I will be teaching a Transformational Retreat in Zihuatenejo, Mexico. It is called 7 Days + 7 Chakras™; which I designed to provide a platform for people to unplug from what no longer serves them, experience release from the past, integration in mind, body and heart, for the present and be liberated through this transformation so they can begin creating the future in a new way.
As I prepare for this program and feel the energy of Zihuatenejo, Mexico in Los Angeles my soul can feel rumbles. I can feel the beauty of that sacred land, the goodness of what I intend to create and the messages of new ways of living for myself and others as I prepare to write my book. Which, if you hadn’t guessed, is all about a new way of living and learning how to listen to the earth. It makes sense that the mother earth who has supported us for so long has answers for some of the questions we spend so much time running around on top of her trying to figure out. The energy of Zihuatenejo is so rich and deep. Powerful and solid, yet lyrical and soulful. I cannot wait to melt into her.
The sacred earth greets the Pacific Ocean with a playground of natural wonders. It will be shared with butterflies, hummingbirds, turtles, whales and dolphins off the coast, a stunning climate with gorgeous vegetation and stars like you’ve never seen before. Truly spectacular.

The present generation of beings on the planet truly are the ones the earth has been waiting for. While there is much that displeases people and the current state of the planet, we are seeing the biggest outpourings of support, love and peace more than ever before. Now that is a reflection of journey worth traveling.

So think about this for a moment. The current state of the world is fragmented and that fragmentation is a reflection of the human race. We have been running around on the earth without looking after it and now she is responding to us and how we have been being. If we slow down and listen to her we will return to a way that supports her and is actually more powerful to us because we are looking after the mother that we asked to live on. We all made a choice to choose this life, this physical body and this planet, so shouldn’t we listen to it? Shouldn’t we unplug from the environment that perpetuates what we dont want and plug into one that allows us to hear and create a new construct. Its not what we are listening to, its the way we are listening to it.
